Hello, I am Rylee Slivicki and this is my story, the why behind Creative Rose impactual spiritual art.

For as long as I can, remember, I’ve always loved art. When I was younger, walking in from a cold blustery recess - upon entering the classroom with just the smell of construction paper and Elmers glue alone; I knew it was going to be a good day. Art helped me get out of my head, to be present in the moment, and allowed everything else to fade away for a while. It was my safe haven among life’s storms. Growing up, I was gifted with clairvoyance - the ability to clearly see that which most don’t. Having had out of body experiences, I’ve seen the good and the bad. My early years were rough, having lived through an abusive childhood; but my experiences are what brought me closer to spirit. I know without God and the arts I wouldn’t be here today; for they are, what have kept me going all these years.

I was 14 when I began my spiritual journey with assistance of Divine Healing Heart Ministry. During which I honed my gifts and later blended them to form intuitive art. I was 16 when I choose early graduation & got my GED. That was the year Creative Rose was launched. The year after when I was 17, I illustrated a poetry book called Transcending Form, Ascend to the Stars by James Vissers. During that year I also partook in my first chalk festival in Wahpeton ND, where I got recruited by Shawn McCann, to travel the chalk Circuit with professional artists. When I was 18, I became an ordained minister for spiritual mentorship, and the official owner of Creative Rose. I was also 18 the year I created my first 3-D chalk piece. I’m grateful for everyone who has helped me along my path & am excited for what the future holds as I continue on this creative journey.

I have learned that this life is far from perfect, it is filled with twists, turns, hills, valleys, and raging storms; but it is through our experiences that we come to know the value of each moment. To cherish the seemingly insignificant, for it is anything but ordinary. To fall in love with: dew drops, feather fibers, iridescent sun rays, and radiant stars. For our  purpose is found within the journey, and not dependent on the destination.

I love art and believe it has the power to change our world for the better. When I see a canvas, I see endless possibilities; and when I see art, it’s the expression of life itself. I believe art gives individuals the ability to self-express beyond words, and it is for that reason it also has the power to:

  • transfix us - to hold us and stillness well the world fades away.

  • heal us - by evoking emotions, and giving us those silent stolen moments that call us home once again.

Art is what you make of it, and I am dedicated to making a positive impact through the creation of art that speaks to the soul. Let's become the love, the light, and the change this world desperately needs. I believe the time for taking this world and our own lives for granted is over. We the people have a responsibility to heal and protect our waters, Earth, and skies. For healed people are the ones that will heal this world, and we need to start somewhere:

That is why Creative Rose tithes 10% to humanitarian projects, such as:

  • The Nile orphanage butiki in Uganda Africa

  • Supporting indigenous elders & ceremonies

  • Keeping art culture alive in small communities

  • Helping families in need

  • Supporting small local businesses

  • Animal rescues

  •  & Planting trees

(Aside from Creative Rose I also work at Landmark Landscaping out of Breckenridge MN, where we aspire to leave each place better than we found it.)

Fall in love with your purpose and never forget your why.
